What You’ll Need

1. A device for playing Roblox

Most devices support Roblox, and if your child is an experienced Roblox player they will likely have a preferred device already. Here’s a list of some of the different options:

  • Windows/Mac desktop or laptop

  • Chromebook (some models)

  • iPhone/iPad

  • Android phone/tablet

  • Gaming console (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox One)

2. A device for joining the Roblox Club video call

To communicate with other club members via voice/video, you’ll want to use a web browser to log into the Ender website on a device with a working mic and webcam. Voice/video chat is not supported on consoles, so you should choose one of the following options:

  • Windows/Mac desktop or laptop

  • Chromebook

  • iPhone/iPad

  • Android phone/tablet

Depending on your device, you may be able to join the call on the same device that you are playing Roblox on. Laptops, desktops and Chromebooks that are sufficiently powerful can run both the Roblox Club call and the game at the same time. Just to be safe, we recommend having two devices ready for your first club session.

We also recommend testing out your webcam and microphone before the club to be sure everything is working properly. You can do this using your device’s Camera application or by visiting a website like onlinemictest.com.

3. A pair of headphones (optional)

We recommend kids connect headphones to whatever device they are joining the Roblox Club call with. In the past, kids who use their device speakers have caused echoes or feedback loops because the audio from the voice call was being picked up by their microphone. By using headphones to hear the other participants in the call, you’ll help to keep the voice experience more pleasant for everyone.

Setup on PC/Mac

I. Create/log into a Roblox account

If you don’t already have a Roblox account, you can create one by visiting the Roblox website. The landing page will let you create an account and choose a username. Add an email or phone number to the account so you can log in again later.

Once you have an account, you can log in using the “Log In” button at the top-right of the Roblox landing page.

II. Download the Roblox Player for your computer

To join Roblox experiences on your computer, you’ll need to install the Roblox Player. You can visit the Roblox Player download page directly to download the correct version for your computer, then open the downloaded files and follow the instructions to install it.

You can also try starting any of the games displayed on the Roblox homepage after logging in, and you’ll prompted to install the Roblox Player if you don’t already have it installed.

III. Add official Ender Roblox accounts as a friend

To access our safe private Roblox servers that let you play with other club members, you should friend our Ender Roblox accounts.

Use the search bar at the top of the Roblox homepage to search for EnderRobloxClub1 and select the option to search “in People” to find the account.

Click on the “Add Friend” below the AlexFromEnder account. Once the friend request is accepted, you’ll be able to be more easily invited to games and experiences during club time.

Setup on Phone/Tablet

I. Download the Roblox app for your device

Go to the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for “Roblox” to find the app.

Install the Roblox app, and then once the installation process is finished open the app to continue setup.

II. Create/log into a Roblox account

If you don’t already have a Roblox account, you can create one by pressing the “Sign Up” button that appears when the app opens. Add an email or phone number to the account so you can log in again later.

Once you have an account, you can log in using the “Log In” button on the main screen of the app.

III. Add the club host as a friend

Once logged in, you should see a “Friends” section that you can tap to add other Roblox players as friends. Using the search bar at the top of the Friends screen, search for AlexFromEnder.

When the host’s account appears, press the Add Friend button at the bottom-right corner of the player portrait to send a friend request.

Once the friend request is accepted, you’ll be able to be more easily invited to games and experiences during club time.

Connect your Roblox and Ender accounts

Once Roblox is installed and ready to go, head to the Roblox Club website, which can be found at app.joinender.com/roblox.

Alternatively, you can switch to the Roblox Club directly in the platform by clicking the dropdown at the top left of the page that says “Minecraft Club" and selecting "Roblox Club"

Log in with your Ender account, and you’ll get a prompt to begin the process of linking your Roblox and Ender accounts together. This allows the host to directly associate your child in the call with the account they’re playing on.

If you aren’t already logged into your Roblox account, you’ll be asked to sign in, and then you’ll confirm the link between the two accounts to complete the process. This is the final step—once you’ve linked the two accounts, you’re all set for club!
