An overview of safety features and practices at Ender

Updated over a week ago

Keeping your kid safe is our number one priority, so Ender uses a combination of safety tools and practices to ensure that all our members are safe when they’re playing online.

Age Verification

Every new member is required to verify their age via live video-chat before they can play on Ender. Parents and kids meet with one of Ender’s trained hosts in a live orientation on their first day where they have to be manually approved before joining live play sessions.

By default, Ender is a voice-based experience, but we request members to enable video chat in order to verify their identity before they can proceed.

No Real Names

To protect kid’s identity and personal information, members use anonymous usernames and avatars when they’re playing on Ender. Their personal information is never displayed publicly or shared with others.

Linked Accounts

Members must link their Minecraft and/or Roblox accounts before playing with others to ensure players don’t share their accounts with others. Only linked accounts can play on Ender’s private servers.

Private Servers

All play sessions are held in private, members-only servers to ensure kids only play with other kids when they’re online. Private servers are not accessible to anyone who hasn’t linked their Minecraft and/or Roblox account to an active account on Ender’s platform.

Moderated Chat

Members can use an AI-moderated text chat with built-in profanity filtering, automatic banning, and user reporting to ensure kid’s are never exposed to inappropriate content.

Adult Supervision

The club is always supervised by trained adults called hosts. Members can virtually raise their hand at anytime for 1:1 help, or join dedicated help rooms for real-time help while they’re playing or talking.
